How Project Hunter handles your data
This policy explains what information Project Hunter stores, how it is used to power your account and gameplay systems, and how to contact the team about privacy questions.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, Project Hunter stores basic account details such as your name, email address, avatar, and authentication identifiers. The app also stores the profile details, training history, meditation and reading logs, guild participation, events, leaderboard preferences, and other gameplay data you create inside the product.
How we use that information
We use your data to sign you in, create and maintain your hunter profile, generate personalized quests, track progress, calculate ranks and streaks, operate events and monthly challenges, and provide admin tooling needed to keep the service running reliably.
Visibility and sharing
Some features are intentionally social. If you opt into the leaderboard or join guilds or events, parts of your gameplay profile may become visible to other players inside those experiences. Opting into the leaderboard also creates a public hunter card (name, country, rank, level, title, class, streaks, and guild) at a shareable link. Hunters with no qualifying activity for 5 days are soft-hidden from the leaderboard but may still keep their public card while opted in. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention and security
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as it is needed to operate your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service from abuse. We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security.
